There aren’t a lot of “nice” 9/11 stories, but this one is about how a tiny town in Newfoundland stepped up to take care of people whose planes were grounded, and it is so uplifting to read about kindness right now. Literally giving away the food from their fridges, giving up bedrooms and showers. It’s a beautiful story.
