I keep trying with this book. I will finish it merely because I started it. I've wanted to trail away from this journey many times, but I keep hacking at the brambles of diatribe that hinder my progress of wanting to truly like this book.

I will honestly say that I haven't read the other books in this series, but I was dying for a book to read and it was all I had left on hand. There is a plethora of five dollar words and the author seems to get off on excessive description. I like a good description, but I'd rather get a good buzz by it instead of so drunk to the point I don't enjoy it.
