The book has a very interesting topic, but it's very slow. I get bored with it easily, but I was told by a friend that it is supposed to get better, so I will keep reading. The main character, Amanda, has gone to a new school that has very strange traditions. She's confused and she feels pressured because there is so much work and this could be her only chance to get into the college of her dreams.
