I'm starting to have some problems with his arguments... he's established the complicated history of the definition of comics and comparing it to how that has kept it from being considered "high art"... but, he's failed to establish the complicated history of the definition of "high art". And that's a massive failing imo! [I like to argue with books, so I'm still enjoying this!]
