Genuinely such a wonderful translation. Melodic, concise and beautifully written. I’m lost to the audiobook and it’s not hard to understand why the story lasted for hundreds of years through oration/song. Emily Wilson pack it up.

i love so much of telemachus’ dialogue, he sounds SO young, like i know he’s in his twenties, but there’s an air around him of youth, he’s emotional and scared of the men in his house, never having been able to stand up for himself

I canNOT handle the narrator of this audiobook, so I have to DNF for now. I’ll revisit when I can read it for myself.
