I am starting this book over at a new time in my life. I am practicing mindfulness and really focusing on fully understanding the meaning and context behind every word. I hope that through this I will be able to appreciate this book even more than I did when I first started reading it.

There are so many different aspects to Jess’s life. All of her identities that are oppressed in one way or another is so interesting to read from an outside perspective.
