My main problem with his take on worship, and I can agree that he makes a few points against legalistic applications of the RPW--is he refuses to see that the Puritans made a distinction between element and circumstance. Perhaps this would fall under Bucer's "probable reason."

I've always known that the US govt imprisoned Christian school parents in the 70s and 80s, but it's always jarring to read accounts of it.
Elsewhere, I think he is painting disp. with too broad a brush (though I largely agree with his criticisms)
