I have only read the "General Introduction" but it has been very interesting to read about Oscar Wilde's life before diving into the story he wrote.

I salute Oscar Wilde for writing and wanting to publish "The Picture of Dorian Gray". The book was used in Wilde's court trials and that alone shows how much he risked writing this story and publishing it for the public to read.
