So far it’s very interesting I will say that the general and textual introductions can be a bit slow but if you are interested in that then it’s cool, it can be a bit repetitive as well though. I have never actually read the picture of Dorian gray before so to learn the subtext and biography of Oscar Wilde before everything is interesting. Idk

Overall really interesting. I liked the finished version more, hate to say. The original's moral argument is really ambiguous and reads too much like Wilde arguing for his own ideology through most the setup. It's also just a rather abrupt last chapter. Reading all the stuff about Wilde's trial was very interesting and I highly recommend this book to any big Wilde or Dorian Gray fan. Lord Henry had too few rambles...

Dorian is literally so comedy. I love him. So far Oscar Wilde has created something beautifully Shakespearean, which I’m thoroughly enjoying.
