I'm so glad I'm a completionist.
This book hasn't had anything applicable in over 100 pages, but today...today I hit the gold mine.
Not only did I find something that will back up what I have to say, but I found resources that do FREE linguistic analysis on Japanese! I am through the roof in excitement right now. Granted...now I have to figure out how to use the software, but even initial experiments are way cool.

Gah. Why at the end, talked on in a teeny little sentence do we now have to have a nod to critical pedagogies?! It hasn't been discussed anywhere in the article to this point. Why do we have to include it at all? Especially in such a slapdash way, its like how everyone used to put "for thr glory of God" at the top of a page of an essay that had nothing to do with God, just a pro forma habit. It's irritating.
