I can't get over how the Tsar of Russia called queen Elizabeth a common girl

It's ridiculous that in one part the author sites that drawing boundaries has always been a method in all civilization than speaks of the indigenous people in North America in a different context (who have a different relationship with the idea of territory which is precisely one reason why they were attacked by federally paid fugitives) - are they to say they weren't a civilization? Preposterous

It will be interesting to see how these authors confront the tension between trying to stay neutral while also exposing the violence of international law itself
