Status Updates From Five Complete Novels

The Left Hand of Darkness was pretty good by all accounts

Didn't realize this textbox was here last time, so skipped reflecting on Planet of Exile. Enjoying works more as each follows another. City of Illusions took awhile to come around. Could've had less of a reveal at the end, but that's not the story the author wanted to write I guess. Kind of random how Estrel came around despite the laugh & all. Needed to isolate Singh. Planet of Exile's senile aspect was cool

100 marks end of Rocannon's World. Not sure why rebels burnt Fian village when they're off on another continent. Pretty well paced, very much hits on that fantasy theme of having little short stories littered about where the characters drop in on & then off they go

blew through the pulpy Rocannon's World and Planet of Exile; took a little more time with City of Illusions and am about to move on to The Left Hand of Darkness.

The Gethenian time logic does not follow to me, but I accept it as another interesting science fiction thingerm. :3

I understand now the style intended that the challenge provided for me to write in was to be. That does not seem sensible. Oh well. I mean to step out of next week and return for the following.

That practice is something I'm a bit familiar with - augury - with birds I think - wasn't there something that just happened in Harry Potter with it? I'm a bit perplexed, but it's okay.
