Status Updates From The Histories

Book VIII
Things are a little less exciting after the two famous battles at Marathon and Thermopylae. Plus I’m also realising that I enjoyed Herodotus’ random digressions and descriptions of peoples’ customs than his historical narrative. So things have slowed down.

This is really interesting but there’s so many tangents I get lost often. Maybe it would be easier if I was reading a physical copy
