Status Updates From Think Like a Programmer: An...

Looking to see if it's a good book for mentees. It's certainly rigorous and had lots of good tips as well as string explanations of data structures, but grounding it in C++ may limit its use. Certainly wouldn't be a first book I'd give a modern programmer, although it would be perfect for anyone starting in 2000, or maybe someone who knows a language same now wants a higher level understanding.

Even though I'm not familiar with the C++ language the problem solving approaches are educational and understandable so far.
