"An eternity of her nagging you wasn't enough?"
Gabe snorted. "Kris! Form up with us. Rhyn's slow on his left. Pick up his slack."
"I'm slow because someone stabbed me."
"You had that coming," Kris snapped

Carly is 77% done

"You are in so much trouble for being here."
"I'm your angel. I'm supposed to help you, but all I do is screw up," Toby said in frustration "I'm the worst angel in the history of the world."
"You're young. I'm sure your time will come," Deidre said
"Exactly. In the meantime, you're grounded" Katie said "No marshmallows or video games or whatever it is kids like. Why are you wearing a pink coat?"
He rolled his eyes

Carly is 65% done

"Can I ask you something first?"
"Sure."
"What are you doing here?"
"I'm not sure. I was at home when someone broke in. I heard someone screaming then something hot went straight through me. Everything went black, and I woke up here," the woman explained.
"So you died."
Silence.
"Sorry. I mean, it sounds like you died," Katie said quickly. "But what do I know? It's my first time here, too."

"We're going towards the lake," she said.
He nodded
"Are you getting us out of here?"
He shrugged
"Do you have a plan?"
Andre shook his head
"Wait, so I just ditched my guide to follow you and you don't know where you're going?" Katie demanded. "Was that supposed to be a rescue?"
The phantom ignored her and continued to walk
"Rhyn's rescues look like well-planned military campaigns compared to this," she muttered.
