The SETTING was at Corny's. Greg and his whole family started doing family nights, so every night they did the would go to Corny's around 3-4. One time Manny got stuck in the tube area and Greg treid to get him out but he got stuck in there with him. Eventually they got out with assistance.

Greg Finally has a date to the dance, but Rowley has to come with them as a group of friends.

From Yesterday

The conflict of the part of the story I read was Manny, school, and bullies.
Manny just worried and annoyed the whole family and Greg had a problem at school when he was little. He skipped pre-school and dropped out of kindergarten because he just thought he wasnt ready. He also had a bully that moved then came back.

The mood in the part of the story i read was that Greg annoyed. Growing up he thought his brother Rodrick was annoying and also his little brother Manny. Greg was also annoyed because he had to use all of Rodricks hammy downs.

The current society affects the protagonist because Greg is the one that has to go save his little brother manny from a play maze and he is really bad with mazzes and he remembered when him and his mom got lost in a real maze and got lost so they had to call 911.

If Greg didnt go to school one day then his friend Rowley wouldnt had ran for president of student counil and most of the story wouldnt even had happened

Greg Needs a date to the valentines dance, so he later asks Uncle Gary for advise which was to ask them face to face.

Uncle Gary bought Gregs dad a fake scratcher and now ever since nobody is allowed to bring up anything about scratchers

eugene ellis becomes student council . he tells the students he will change the students bathroom toilet paper .

they start the book off with the main character as a child . greg explains his childhood when he was younger . He tells the reader what's happening in this life now . "luckily , i remember just about everything that happened to me BEFORE i was born "

The next day at school greg has an assembly to vote for there new council. Greg wanted to join but he has more then 3 detentions so he told Rowley his bestfriend to do it so greg could tell him what to change about the school

One reason to read this book on a weekend road trip is because this book is a diary of this kid and his friend and problems. Everything climbs up to the point where he needs a dance partner for his school dance. It is non-fiction because its a life story

I am currently reading what his mom tells to do and how he grew up and his little brother's imaginary friends and that his older brother Rodrick gave him everything he didn't need anymore.

Gregs Uncle stays in his house because hes broke

Greg heffly had to go up a slide to get his little brother manny but he got scared and stuck

greg heffley talks how he misses how he was in him moms stomach and when he way younger he didnt know how to walks and how he got hand me down from rodger

At the end Greg is going to the dance in his school with his friend but he goes with his friend then then they go pick up the girl.

Greg Heffley talks about how he remembers when he was in his mothers stomach and how his newer brother was born and how annoying he is especially when he watches the gurgles which is in a language only baby's know soon when his little brother grew up a little more he made up his friends and they all take over the restroom and living room, and his mom said not to tell his little brother his friends are fake.

Greg found a a resolution to him not finding a date to the dance. He is going as a group.

I am on Page 38 and I enjoy reading diary of a wimpy kid because it reminds me a lot of when I was younger

Diary of a Wimpy Kid - I think this title is significance to the protagonist because he wrote all of his problems or life experiences on this diary. In the book he is kinda of a wimp so that's probably why its called that. The diary is pretty much his life story.

The Valentines dance is up and they could buy candy grams to ask the person to the dance. And there are way more boys than girls in Gregs school so not every boy is going to get a date, but he is starting to get worried cause alot of people have gotten asked out, even the people that throw mashed potatoes at the ceiling, and he hasn't gotten asked out yet so he is worried he won't get asked out.
