i’m actually about to learn the portuguese language because i need to know if this translation is genuinely accurate because i can’t take it anymore. why is it that only every 5 pages is there a paragraph that actually makes sense and doesn’t twist my mind into an entanglement to cause an aneurysm? clarice lispecter is like kafka, they said. uhm, i have read half of kafka’s works and i beg to differ.

Shakespeare is easier to understand than the pretentious writings I have read so far in this book. I am still trying to figure out the point of this narrative style choice. A meditation? More like a cluster-fuck yap sesh where every other paragraph is a new idea.
