Chapter 1 complete! History of JavaScript, the era of Internet Explorer and Netscape. How amazing, both browsers are no longer the giants they are.

I feel I need more than just a syntax understanding of JavaScript. This book digs into the details. Despite being taught as a simple scripting language (at least at the community college level), it really is a much more complex and powerful tool. Interesting so far, good examples, and good explanation.

Finally got this baby from Amazon. Now I'm going to ditch the e-book and start from scratch.
