Status Updates From Swell: A Year of Waves

In the last chapter of Swell, Slater explains surfers and body boarders that ride waves in extreme conditions. Swell also stated facts about where the best waves can be found in the South Pacific Ocean.

In swell the last chapter stated facts about the types of waves and swells that occur in the South Pacific Ocean. It included pictures of waves and people surfing on them in Australia, and Indonesia.

"Swell" has many facts about the oceans and waves all around the world. It includes facts about mavericks that can happen around the world such as in Hawaii, California, etc. It also included many pictures of different of waves from the North Pacific Ocean, which I thought was pretty cool.

in swell, the Slater explains all different types of waves and how each one is different. Slater also stated a story of when he was surfing and he was about to come face to face with the biggest wave he had ever seen (probably a maverick). Slater explained how he panicked for the first time ever in his surfing life.
