Uhhhh... I'm not cool with the N word being used by non black authors. "... humble n***** smile" so many other words could have been used instead of that. I know the character is black but come on. Gotta DNF at 2%

Pick up the book, start reading, immediately decide nope not in the mood for this today. Put the book down. Pick up the book 10 minutes later, read a few more pages. Close the book and decide I'm not in the mood today. 30 minutes later pick up the book again and read a few more pages, I really am not in the mood to read this kind of book - I need a romance. Put the book down.
