Status Updates From The Island Harp

This is a good story but occasionally the author goes into long boring passages describing the landscape, describing way too much history, or introducing way more characters than the reader can remember. Thankfully, she then returns to the plot.

I'm totally getting lost into this novel. I wish I could put the real world on hold.

I don't care so much for all the history, but the story is good.

After listening to the beginning 3 times, I am starting to understand the story.

I just started listening to this book and the reader's accent, although it may be authentic, is so strong that I am having a hard time understanding what she is saying through her brogue. Hopefully it gets better.
