"These tattoos were on the captain's upper arms. Down one side of his body were portraits of the five women hed been married to. On the other side was a list of sandwiches he had specially enjoyed, and the date on which he had eaten them for example, in 1947 he had a fried egg on toast, which he felt deserved to be commemorated." is finished
It was a long and boring weekend for me and I had nothing to do, so I read Animal Farm up to Chapter 7 and finished this book, "Bushman Lives!" Harold Knishke and Geets begin to get more along with each other as they were first best friends, then got into many arguments over art and now are getting along again. I didn't enjoy the book because it was about art which I'm not interested in, my dad made me read it.

If I had to interview one character in my book I would interview Harold Knishke. I would ask Harold how art has taken over his life and how it affects his relationships as not stated in the book yet. In reply he might say that I always enjoyed writing, drawing, and literature and I have good relationships with other artists and Geets is my best friend.

My novels story would be different if there was a different narrator because it wouldn't be from Harold Knishke's perspective but rather from a different point of view. If the narrator was Daniel Pinkwater then he would have shared his opinions on Harold's character rather than Harold's point of view on others but it would be magnificent if it was from the author's point of view.

It feels very small. Quaint. Is that the right word? It's quietly weird.

Picked this one up because, well, Bushman. My MIL still talks about seeing him at Lincoln Park Zoo. I've seen him at Field Museum. I was expecting a children's book because that's where it was displayed at the library. But the book starts with the main character drinking Guinness. My mental image of him just aged about 8 years.
