This is causing me to stare off into space for several minutes to think about what I just read.

Such a beautiful depiction of a man who thought that his live was only about obeying his employer, hence professionalism was what he believed. He thought, one’s dignity can only be measured through the work for your employer, sad. Steven’s life was all about being a butler, eventually creating his own reality & truth of the world. His pov still can be seen today, such a stoic but helpless character. Sad tho..
