Ok, 69% into the book and I'm getting bored. I'm not sure why exactly though. Maybe there's just not enough action throughout. It's cute and entertaining but not gripping. I could put it down now with only mild curiosity about what happens next.

With a little copy-editing, this book would be a lot better than many traditionally published YA adventures out there. I'm actually really enjoying it.
