Status Updates From El mito de Sísifo

I understand that many French philosophers used to write philosophy in a very literary and flowery way and I already don’t agree with that from an academic point of view but I’m reading this for leisure anyway, still it’s not working for me. It’s tiring and unnecessary and I don’t like the writing much or the way he expresses things. Hope I’ll be able to power through and maybe even learn something ..

one must imagine themselves as literate enough to read this

Kind of excessively wordy/overly academic for my taste but makes sense for its time and genre, and the message slaps
