This is the first made from paper book that I’ve tried to read it in a while. It’s a big book with lots of pictures so that will help! The text is also in double columns on each page so tracking across the lines on the page is easier. Since I just finished listening to the book on audible it is reasonably fresh in my mind. That makes this more enjoyable.

I see that I bought this book on March 26, 2015 from Barnes & Noble and had it shipped to my dad Joseph Bassett who was the one living at Saint Anne’s Mead in Southfield Michigan. I don’t believe he ever read this book from beginning to end and in fact I’m not even sure how much he looked at it. I brought it back to my home eventually and he died in June 2016.

A nice refresher of the original Blue Highways book, written in the 1970s but still worth reading... relating to a vanishing back roads America. Photos are nice, prose is OK, not great.

It does not have the charm of the original book but the photography is very nice.
