The triplets opened the boxes to find they each had been given a ring. Taggart's was inset with a ruby and 8 small diamonds in a large square platinum setting. Kellan's had a large princess cut diamon set off by 2 emeralds in a platinum setting. Meckenszie was amazed that he had taken the color of their necklaces into designing these rings. Meckenzie's ring was the most beautiful thing she had ever seen...

They convinced the headmaster to let them test out of their classes and still recieve diplomas at the end of the year. The headmaster wasn't very happy about the situation and informed Taggart that he would have to forgeit his valedictorian status. Taggart, like the wonderful man he is, explaind that in life sometimes family is more important than being #1. The headmaster was made to look like a fool.
