first enjoyable sentence i’ve read in the book just happened

this book makes me hate men and want to be single for the rest of my life

flashback to when joe said the girl looked like she was 16 and still had sex with her and then later said she looked super slutty… also his ex gf who was too good for him does sex calls ig? and joe doesn’t support her like he should but wtvs he calls her and tells her he has a new script for her to use and it’s the script of how he had sex with the other girl… and then he got mad she has a crush on a guy.

a white man who looked to be in 50s said this is a great book… i knew i had his target audience correct i should have kicked him out for saying such things

this girl is trying to warn the main character that he’s in danger and he was like she’s so beautiful and kissed her on the cheek. if i was trying to warn a coworker about them being in danger and he kissed me i would become the threat i was warning him about

this book starts the next chapter on the same page the last chapters ends and it grinds my gears.

he called what the did “making love” okay cornball also she said she didn’t want to do it and you still did it so that was def not love you nasty foul horrible person

i hate the main character so much it’s not even funny. he keeps begging his girl to have sex with him but here’s the thing you’re chopped and disgusting and you probs smell bad she deserves so much better. she literally just said i’ll have sex with you bc i feel bad. this is not an act of passion it’s an act of pity. and he said that’s fine let’s just stop talking. people have hired hitmans for less.

carl hiaasen writes books for men and it’s so obvi it hurts. his books give me the same vibes as this time i was at the bowling alley with my queens and some guy made a sexist joke on the mic and we all just looked at him and he made fun of us on the mic for being feminists. i think if he had any sort of education he would like this author.
