Agonizingly slow revelations coupled with unrealism made the mystery of this book flat. Strong introduction that crumbled as hormones hit the fan. Conclusion was an obvious sequel cliffhanger. Too many negatives, but I don't regret reading. FULL REVIEW SHORTLY

A book like this would normally feel sketched-in , unrealistic, and annoyingly melodramatic. But it is surprisingly engrossing and well-paced for this type of thriller.
