I had to return this to the library so I have DNF'd for not. Much more Chriistianity-based than the cover blurb led me to believe.

Very interesting presentation of an argument for the importance of a religious life as the framework within which we can live a life of self assertion. Moves beyond a simple secular versus religious polarity to show how they are complementary whilst being clear that the author believes that the religious framework has first priority and provides the foundation for healthy "secularism".
