Why did ice pond technology never become mainstream? This 1985 article predicts climate change as well as some means to reduce oil and electric consumption.

John McOhee can make any topic interesting! I learned quite a bit about bears that shattered a myth or two while enjoying his charming anecdotal and engaging style of writing. Nonfiction takes a new meaning under his pen.
