Some of the author's haughty diction made me literally cringe, reminding me why I can't take poets anywhere. Gem: "Frost used also to brag..." Other than the (expectedly) cringe-worthy prose-voice from Davison, I'm a heaux for the nuggets of information that add dimension to these poets' images.
