wish me luck cuz I don't even like poetry and especially not poetry from the 1600's and yet here I am. even bought the academic version so I could get all the help I need

The thing about Paradise Lost is that it's so near indecipherable that it doesn't matter where I stopped reading it or what was going on in the narrative. Regardless I don't know what is going on 🤷🏾‍♀️

Finished the first book of paradise lost, definitely a challenging read so far. The notes at the back really help and annotating as I go to understand the events. I love Satan’s representation tho

I feel so fortunate to have one of the great epics in my own language
