Status Updates From PELE: MY LIFE AND THE BEAUT...

Almost done!!! Only a few more chapters to go.

Really good, great detail about all the matches he played in. Inspiring. (I've read a lot, very interesting and I can't put down the book lol).

Very interesting, explains his experiences of growing up and how his mother tried to push him to try other occupations other than soccer.

It is a little boring, but it is cool to see how he grew up. Pele’s dad barely made enough money to support the family playing professional soccer. He ended up hurting his knee and the family had to move to a new team that he was traded to.

I am in the introduction about football and how Pelé is the best player football has ever seen. It explains he is known all across the globe, from the Americas, through Europe, all the way to Asia, and down through Africa.

I am currently on page 25 of, Pele: My Life And The Beautiful Game and I am getting more hooked and hooked in the book because at the moment there is a lot of action as Pele retells the story of his first world cup when he was 17 years old and I just love how the author tells the story from the very beginning of Pele's life including the troubles his father had while playing the beautiful game in the country, Brazil.

I am enjoying this book at the moment because it is showing how Pele grew up in Brazil and how he came to love football.
