I know this book isn't gonna end on a high note but I'm enjoying the cutesy relationship between Zane and Ty right now. These books are so addicting.

My heart is breaking for Zane right now.

The tender kisses kindled a cozy golden glow inside him. With his lips on Tys, his eyes closed and Tys arms around him, the world didnt feel dark and foreboding.

This scene.... loved it.

He wanted Ty with him, wanted him badly. Needed him as a partner, and not just at work. Craved him as a lover more than he'd ever jounced over heroin. Connected with him in so many ways that Zane couldn't see a way to untangle himself and didn't even want to try.

Then have him. All you have to do is tell him! Ty loves you, for crying out love.

I like how Zane's and Ty's relationship develops. They are constantly learning things about and taking care of each other.

It's nice, that they aren't those perfect characters you often find in books. They feel real, with all the good, funny, annoying and vulnerable sides.

“Ty.” Zane’s even, soothing tones finally broke on the short gasp of his name. “I love you and I’m scared I’ll lose you. Please don’t leave me alone in the dark.”---Awww, Zane you finally did it. So beautiful.

“You’re a big ol’ screaming bottom, aren’t you?” he asked Ty with certainty.-**raises hands & nods vigorously** For Zane, I really would be!!!

They continued like that, swaying languidly to the music, and when their lips finally parted, Zane heard himself whisper, “I love you.” Ty snorted softly,--- By far one of my favorite scenes in the entire series. My only wish would be that Ty's response could have been different. All in due time though.

“THERE are a few steps up just inside,” Zane said as they stopped outside a full plate-glass door under a blue awning hanging off a red brick building. “Four, maybe? It’s not like I’ve counted before.”“You don’t have to tell me, baby. I can see them,” Ty reminded gently.---Love the pet names and sentiment between these two.

It was important to Zane to understand when craving Ty had become needing him, and when needing him had become caring for him, and if it was possible for that caring to truly become even more. Because Ty deserved nothing less. --- These two and their emotions.
