I am enjoying this book much more than I thought I would. Ahlberg's insight into the changes from childhood to adulthood is poetic and thoughtful: "yes, like passing trains, I guess, the world goes over way and we, though gazing backwards, go the other".

Finished. Lovely read. Collection of stories, poems, anecdotes and pictures, all relating to Ahlberg's childhood. Very evocative. Brilliantly written. Hugely enjoyed. Very highly recommend
