I think this is a rather dry entry in the series. I feel like it's repeating itself over and over with the same type of stories. I don't know how many examples of death-predicting ghosts and doppelgangers they think I need before I get the picture, but it's a big number. The parts about the psychical research society are redundant. The sidebars and shorter sections, on the other hand, are extremely interesting.

A very interesting (and brief) section on different cultures' death customs, meant to discourage spirits from lingering in the world of the living.

The past several days, I've been exhausted when I get into bed at night so I end up falling asleep before I can get much reading in.
