I am profoundly grateful for the ability to read cognitively challenging books (sometimes). I love stumbling through texts that require the simultaneous use of a dictionary. I love being a scientist who is unafraid of critical theory and a rabid proponent of its importance across culture, politics, and all academic disciplines. I'm only confident I understood 10% of this book.

actually going to put this book on the back burner for now bc I think I should read some deleuze and Tocqueville first in order to understand some more of what the author is saying!
