We have progressed from village life where neighbors help each other for free to the city market where almost everything can be bought gir a price.. naming your baby, paying someone to carry your baby, or entertain your children at their parties. Is this truly progress?

Maybe some people that are alive today have experienced the village taking care of their needs. I haven’t and I would think most of the younger generations haven’t either. Is the change from village to market a sign of the disintegration of AMericsn society? Why does our government cater to wealthy individuals who can afford to buy in the market any service they need? Shouldn’t the government change?
