Interesting that the early church fathers regarded ‘tradition’ as doctrine that the Lord and his apostles handed down.

Compared to our definition of tradition as doctrine handed down the church that contradicts Scripture.

Gnosticism is wack. A syncretism of Christianity, pagan myths, and far Eastern religion turns it into a muddy belief system.

Middle Platonism, Stoicism, and Neo-Platonism ahh 🥀.

‘I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me’ (John 14:6)

All these Graeco-Roman philosophers attempted to seek ‘the One’ through their philosophical loopholes. Praise God that Jesus Christ is the only way.
