Fun story. Very much Indiana Jones meets Clive Cussler with a little bit of James Bond thrown in there.

Navy to the Rescue! at least I hope... so. Fun story, enjoyable read. Action adventure, James Bond meets Clive Cussler with a little Indiana Jones thrown in.

There are some factors that will complicate the review, more on that later.

But, back to the story. Fun, enjoyable read worth the time spent reading it.

Hurray! The Navy's here... and it's time to find the old "not everybody is a retired US Navy Operations Specialist Chief, Enlisted Surface Warfare Qualified Grumpy aging guy, stifle yourself and press the "I believe button." button."

Boilers, not gas turbines...Watchbill not duty roster... Breath, Hugh, in through your nose, out ....

(couple minor descrepancies in things ...Naval, still enjoying the read.)

Wow, bullets flying, helo's coming down and an arrow through the chest... And it's not over yet. Lots of Action heating up. Very much in the Clive Cussler story vein.

Yakuza, the Beautiful Maria-Maria, a Quest for the Holy Grail and... things that go boom! ... everything a guy could wish for... oh, yeah, and guns too, earthquakes and wicked mad-scientists... yep, it's the tri-fecta of action adventure!

Good story. Very much in the vein of Rollins and Cussler. Not sure I like the way the second tier villain created. I'm not sure how to deal with that...I'll read more in the story.

(I expect to let it go. It's an interesting story, a bit slow in the begining but there are a lot of things to move in place. The tension is building even if the bullets aren't flying yet.

So far good reading.
