just finished part one which ends when she has her first breakdown. her writing became a bit choppier in the final entries. i'm not sure if this book is for me.

it's shocking how FLUENT people are when they write in their diaries. the entries here are lengthy and read like prose from a book you would pick up. i always thought everyone had a polished, "public" writing style and a more casual private one but this appears to be incorrect assumption on my part.

reading the intro by her husband. already feeling a bit suss that he's edited it the way he likes. (imho family members should be barred from editing diaries after someone has died.) if this is good i'll have to get the unabridged version... couldn't find an e-version of it anywhere which is why i've settled for this as a substitiute
