Status Updates From No Plot? No Problem!

I turned this in a couple of weeks ago to the library because the due date wasn’t extendable, and thought I'd finish it as an ebook, but I'm just not interested at all. It's mainly about how to write a novel in 30 days as a NaNoWriMo participant (which I didn’t realize before getting the book, lol).
So... dnfing it😔

Just as I was about to dnf this, it got interesting. He started giving actual, practical tips. One I particularly liked is this:

You make two lists:
1. A list of everything you like in a book. It could be short chapters, urban setting, 1st person pov, etc
2. a list of everything that bores you or annoys you in a book. It could be stupid mcs, too many descriptions, etc.

It was so fun to write these lists.
