Gosh, I’d forgotten how good thrillers written in the 90s can be. Slow burn but written so well. I am only 40% in. Hope the ending doesn’t disappoint.

Das Buch, was ich seit Februar vor mir herschiebe und was mich davon abhält bei 4 gelost auf 100% zu kommen... ;)

Argh, das dämliche Buch ist das einzige, was mir noch fehlt von der 4-gelost Challenge. Irgendwie muss ich ihm jetzt doch noch mal eine Chance geben...

it’s very good, very fast paced and the chapters are short (which i love). i’m going to try to finish it today or tomorrow.

This book is written in the first person, which is not my favourite style. However, since it is predicated on the assumption that the narrator has suppressed a memory from her childhood which will provide the solution to a murder that is uncovered after a quaerter of a century.

I found it hard to identify with any of the protagonists (and there is a confusingly large cast of them) who all come from a social elite.

What is this? How is this Nicci French? This seems to be going nowhere.

I wish this book didn’t let the exciting parts die down for so long until it gets interesting again.
