Am I disastrously behind in my reading challenge?? Of course. Am I trying to gain ground by blasting through the shortest books I own? You betcha! It’s practically a New Years tradition by now.

Life is too short and I have far too much to do before the holidays to keep on reading this book.

The prose is dense and unnecessarily obtuse and trying to actually read this has put me off reading the other lovely little books in my Penguin collection.

I have now firmly put this aside, never to be picked up again, and will be going on to the next no doubt much, much better next volume in the series.

Bit of a hard read...
