5/5 ve schwab has a way of building up a story for almost the entirety of a book and then making it all coalesce into something that makes sense and suddenly ur wondering why u hadn’t notice the big picture at first. she does it again with this book, keeping the reader at arms length while also managing to keep them engaged. it’s safe to say i’m enjoying this book as well as any others of hers i’ve read.
