I have so much sympathy for Tomas. He truly was going through too much too young. I also love Morrow

At first I was a little disoriented from the lack of info and everything being thrown at me until I found out this is a second book. As of now the book seems to be pretty good for a crime/thriller

I forgot about the layers of the main character's life - should have started reading book 2 a while ago.

I may stay 1% done. I've had to look up 7 words in the dictionary already🙄 Not sure I'm up for this.

I'm enjoying the book but am concerned that so much SMIRKING goes on among the police officers of Glasgow. I assume the high level of SMIRKING incidents is intentional and designed to portray Glaswegian bobbies in a certain light? What do other readers think?

Loving the complex characters. I'm enjoying this book more than I did while reading Still Midnight.

I'm happy that the book isn't going exactly as planned. Keeps me on my toes. Will they catch the killer? But at the same time it annoys me because I know who did it... So will they? Will they catch him??

She keeps doing flashbacks, but the way she writes makes it difficult to know its a flashback until you're 2 paragraphs in. Very confusing.

Classic Denise Mina stuff. I wish I could write crime as visceral as her!

V noci jsem téměř namátkou sáhla do zásob v Kindlu. Až teď koukám, že to bude detektivka, což jsem spíš nechtěla. Ale tak co už :)

enjoying it so far..not a huge fan of books with profanity but its not distracting. I didnt realize it was number 2 in the series but I am looking forward to the rest of the book. I also like the way this author writes..adding her to my list of authors ..

This one is moving faster than the first. It helps to already know the characters from the first book.
