Status Updates From Okay for Now

Well. That was heartbreaking.

But there’s also the good sort of heartbreaking too with Mr. Ferris and Powell… There’s good people.

Doug’s dad just isn’t one of them. I REALLY hope one of his father figures punches Doug’s father, which probably won’t happen because the aftermath won’t be good, HOWEVER, maybe it would happen right as his dad is losing his parenting rights! That’d be great!

Dang it we’re going through Jane Eyre. Now I’m going to have to appreciate that book. I hate Jane Eyre.

Well I can tell this book is going to hurt.

Also what do you mean Holling gave Doug his prized signed baseball jacket cause Doug’s brother ruined his hat????

It is getting slightly better, but I honestly don’t anticipate many of them stuck it out this far..I probably wouldn’t have LOL.

this is my students summer reading book that we are starting with in august..IT SUCKS! i feel so bad for them. i swear i didn’t pick it guys. ☹️🥸
