This is good. I hadn’t thought about the parable of the prodigal son this way before. Whether we rebel by going our own way and defying Gods commands or by sticking close to God and trying to please Him so He’ll do what we want, it’s dangerous for our souls.

I can’t ever just read one book at a time

This book was really good. It explained the pride and self-righteousness that can come with viewing your relationship with God as a bunch of rules versus loving God Himself.

First book of my ~fall curriculum~ (that I assigned myself lol). This one wasn’t originally on my list, but my dad thought I would like it and mailed it to me! Excited to see what it’s all about. Not sure if it’ll be too religious for me or an interesting read so we’ll see! So far so good
