Status Updates From Raven's Gate (Power of Five...

The story has progressed a lot, and it’s certainly developed. There have been a couple of plot twists and they have been well placed and not there just for the sake of it. I’ve really enjoyed reading this and glad that it escalates closer to the end, building up the characters (and the main character’s powers) where everything starts to come together.

The pacing is enjoyable, allowing for focus on characters instead of letting the fictional parts of the story consume the rest of the narrative. The main character is likeable imo, and realistic for a teenager. Even characters introduced for a moment have so much personality to them that even with a small description it’s easy to visualise their role, making the world feel real despite the supernatural elements.

Reread #infinite lol
